The Anthology Project!

To my pride of BEAUTIFUL women of color...

I want to take this time to formally and officially introduce a project that is very dear to my heart. Here at ROAR, we strive to celebrate , empower and inspire women of color within our community! One of such efforts takes the form of a collection of work entitled, “A Mile in her Shoes: The Anthology”.

The vision for this project is to showcase the beauty, the magnetism, the strength, and the grace of women of color from a male’s perspective, while also highlighting the experience, the wisdom, the reality and the authenticity of womanhood from our own perspectives.

This anthology is our opportunity to control the narrative and tell the world WHO WE ARE! To use our individual voices as a collective beacon of hope, strength and POWER for all the women, men, boys and girls within our community.

The projected publish date is slated ‪Fall 2018‬. Submissions are due to Shereth Nunes at chaedal88@me.com by July 31, 2018 and can be html or word document format to allow me to copy and paste your content. If you have artwork, illustration, signature etc., that goes along with your entry (or entries) please submit those as well.

Words cannot express how truly excited I am to finally be working on this project! I’d like to thank all those who have already answered the call and will be submitting work.
